A Seat at the Table...

That morning, she stood in her kitchen holding the invitation, wondering if it was worth rearranging her plans. Life felt full—yet strangely lonely. She had people around her, roles to fill, responsibilities to meet. But something in her had been longing for more than just busy days.

Still, she decided to try.

When she arrived at the tea, soft laughter drifted through the room. Tables were dressed with simple beauty—flowers, teacups, sunlight resting gently on linen. A woman at the door smiled and guided her to a seat.

There was no pressure to perform, no need to explain herself. Just space—to listen, to speak, to be.

As the morning unfolded, she noticed something else: purpose stirring quietly. In the stories shared, she saw pieces of her own life reflected back to her. She wasn’t behind. She wasn’t alone. She was right where she needed to be.

Sometimes, all it takes is a seat at the table to remind a woman who she is...
